2-in-1: Two instruments in one socket
The multi-functional socket for the simultaneous connection of one bipolar and one monopolar instrument gives the user of the ARC 100 two
advantages: the compact attachment provides maximum functionality at a minimal size, and makes the ARC 100 one of the most economical
electro-surgical systems in the 100-watt class, because one cable is available, which unites both standards, to connect combinations of instruments
such as a handle with an electrode and a bipolar forceps.

Precise monopolar cutting and effective coagulation.
The 100 W power output and the tissue effect can be finely adjusted for all modes in 10 steps using the up and down buttons.
For monopolar cutting, the modes smooth cutting (Pure CUT) and dry cutting (Dry CUT) are available.
Using Dry CUT, deeper coagulation effects are achieved in cutting thanks to a larger arc.
For monopolar coagulation, the modes Moderate and Forced are available.
Moderate provides lower carbonization and coagulation with an increased penetration depth.
The choice of Forced Coag is ideal for rapid and effective hemostasis with a simultaneous reduced penetration depth in the tissue.
Of course, numerous standard commercial monopolar and bipolar instrument cables can be connected to the socket of the ARC 100.
All monopolar modes can be activated using the foot switch and using the finger switch on the handle.

Perfect bipolar coagulation
Bipolar COAG allows precise coagulation of tissue using a bipolar instrument, e.g. bipolar forceps.
No neutral electrode is required for using bipolar coagulation.
It is activated by means of the foot switch of the ARC 100.
